KIDNEY 4WD ADVENTURE
2009 Kidney Kar Rally

The 2009 Kidney Kar Rally is over. What an epic 8 days we had on the road & in the bush. Being a first timer to driving in a rally let me tell you if you are considering entering into this sort of event dont think to long about it and just do it.

WHAT A BLAST.

We have meet some awsome people on the rally and also made a few new friends. All the kids had a great time as well

In 2009 the Kidney 4WD Adventure is merging with the Kidney Kar Rally. This will be an exciting time for both the 4WD Adventure and the Kar Rally.

2009 will see us venture down to the beautiful country of Tasmania.

If you are interested in supporting our teams in the rally, then please contact us for further details. We are always on the look out for new supporters.

The Kidney Health Australia motorsport events were organized to promote the need for organ donation and raise funds for medical research, whilst also raising awareness of Kidney Disease in the general community.

The Kidney Kar Rally has been running since 1989, and the Kidney 4WD Adventure was first organized in 1995.

Participants in both events provide their own vehicle and crew, and fundraise their full entry fee prior to event commencement.

Tips For Your 4X4 Play Trip Off Road
When riding off-road, you should be familiar with how to maneuver your vehicle on all types of terrain, and under a variety of conditions.

Off-road 4x4 play driving is a game of finesse. Your goal should be to have minimal impact on the terrain, while managing to get through it.

Riding through 4x4 play tight spots
Keep the driver's side of the vehicle close to obstacles while you are 4x4 play driving so you can judge distances more accurately. (Just don't forget about the rest of the vehicle!)

Riding through 4x4 play deep ruts
Heavily used tracks often become deeply rutted, to the point where it is impossible to drive without getting the undercarriage hung up. To prevent this, drive with one wheel in the rut and the other wheel on the middle hump.
